The Dynamic Regrouping Feature
Satellite Scripts
Welcome to the Dynamic Regrouping feature’s “Satellite View”.
For optimal communication during emergencies or special operations, the Dynamic Regrouping feature allows a dispatcher to very quickly combine many specific radio-user Trunking talkgroups into one temporarily needed radio-user Trunking Talkgroup.
From the CPS’s Zone Channel Assignment Window, programming a radio for Dynamic Regrouping begins by setting the Trunking Talkgroup of a specific Channel within a specific Zone as the designated "Dynamic Regrouping" talkgroup. This Talkgroup is selected for this channel from the same Trunking Personality that is also selected for this channel, and this Trunking Personality selects the specific Trunking System for this Dynamic Regrouping. Note that only one Dynamic Regrouping Talkgroup may exist per Trunking System.
Be aware that this Trunking System’s Dynamic Regrouping Zone and Channel fields must select the same Zone and Channel that contain the Dynamic Regrouping Talkgroup programmed for this Trunking System.
A radio-user Dynamic Regrouping request may also be transmitted to the dispatcher. A radio user Dynamic Regrouping request is initiated from a CPS defined “Reprogram Request” menu item, or from a CPS defined “Reprogram Request” button press.
